Let’s Talk
If the challenges ahead feel complex, consequential, or simply overdue for a clear-eyed outside perspective – I’d welcome a conversation.
I work with a small number of clients at any one time. If there’s a potential fit, the right starting point is a direct, candid conversation about where you are and where you’re trying to get to.
You might reach out if any of these feel familiar:
Your strategy feels sound on paper but isn’t translating into traction. The direction is set, the plans are written – but somewhere between the boardroom and execution, clarity is getting lost. You’re not sure whether the problem is the strategy itself, how it’s being resourced or communicated, or how the business is positioned relative to where the real opportunity lies. A perspective that isn’t mired in tactical concerns might uncover hidden inconsistencies or gaps that hold us back.
You’re carrying the leadership challenges that don’t fit neatly on an agenda. The team dynamics, the founder/owner transition, the culture that’s evolving in a different direction – these are the sensitive conversations that rarely make it onto a formal agenda but quietly determine whether everything else succeeds or fails. You want to converse confidentially with a peer who has faced the same uneasiness and uncertainty – who will listen, ask difficult questions and help you work out what needs to change.
Growth is happening, but it feels uneven or hard to sustain. Revenue is coming in, but it’s concentrated in too few clients, geographies, or channels. Margins are under pressure. You’re expanding into new markets or considering it, and the risks feel harder to read than they used to. You need someone who has navigated that terrain before.
The board or governance structure isn’t keeping pace with the business. The company has grown faster than its governance. Decisions are taking too long, the right questions aren’t being asked at board level, or you’re facing a significant transaction – an acquisition, a succession, a new market entry – and want an experienced independent voice in the room.
